Daiana Stolz, University Hospital Basel, Switzerland
Daiana Stolz graduated in 1997 (first class honors) and completed her clinical training in Internal and Pulmonary Medicine in Brazil, Germany, Switzerland and the US. She became an Assistant Professor in Respiratory Medicine at the University Basel, Switzerland in 2007 and received a Master Degree in Public Health by the Harvard School of Public Health, US in 2008. After being honored with a Research Professorship by the Swiss National Foundation in 2011, she was appointed as Full Professor for Respiratory Medicine by the University Basel, Switzerland in 2016. Dr. Stolz contributed with several studies on pulmonary and systemic biomarkers for the characterization of COPD patients. Dr. Stolz has authored >150 publications in peer-reviewed journals and is a member of the editorial board of Chest.
